Coach Dennis Allen and General Manager Reggie McKenzie feel good about the rebuilding of the Oakland Raiders. This will be their second year with the Oakland organization, and they are looking to have a better season than 2012.
Mercury News reported on Wednesday that the Allen and McKenzie feel like they have a sense of accomplishment so far in the rebuilding of the team for 2013.
“When you ask me what feels better about the team, I have to say everything,” stated McKenzie on the rebuilding of the Raiders so far.
"When things don't go well, we're all involved—coacher, players, management –everybody has a piece of it," Allen stated on Mercury News.
Coach Allen also added, "And when we have the success we're going to have, everybody's going to have a piece of it. Right now we're building that.”
Even though their drafting options have changed, they are still going to study the situation carefully and have to make the right decisions.
With this week’s NFL Scouting Combine going on, they will be busy studying and analyzing their next move.
They do have the number three overall pick, but the Raiders wanted to trade the pick for more picks down the road. The options of that are minimal now. So, they will work with what they have.
The Raider fans will have to wait and see what happens in April.
