This is what I figured.
I think Gruden is looking at this kid as a Garner type. In 2002, Garner had 1900 yds from scrimmage and 11 TDs. It was 50/50 rushing/receiving.
It's interesting, though, because I doubt Bowden will be any better than Richard, who is exactly that kind of RB.
And if Gruden was looking to replace Rod Smith on the roster then he should have drafted a bigger Lynch-type back.
Anyway, I think Bowden will be playing a whole shit-ton of STs in his first couple of seasons,
