VERY interesting pick. An Edelman type player.
Quick not fast
Smaller
Pure possession
Sure-handed
High football IQ
GREAT route guy
And white.
I really like the pick.
What's really surprising to me is he had a 35" vertical jump. At 5'10", for a white kid, that's an impressive number.
I think when our strength guys get hold of him, he could become one of those Raiders favorites who's never flashy but always good.
This was a good player to trade up for. Packers could easily have gone for him with the next pick.
NFL.com has a ton of WRs ranked ahead of this guy, but none of them can actually catch the football. Anyone notice that? Under strengths, it's all about their speed, their juke moves, jumping ability, whatever, then in weaknesses, you see "drops," "bad ball skills," etc. It's like everyone forgot what WRs are supposed to do out there on the fuckin field.
BETTER be a playoff win in 2022.
