Phil Vilipiano is a LB we could use if the now. Dude was a stud and brought the pain. One of my favorites.

My favorite Raider defensive players back in those days was Villapiano but mostly Ted Hendricks and Lester Hayes. That was real football back than where defensive players got away with a lot more. This NFL today is so controlled, branding crazy, and manipulated by the refs.

The NFL today is a propoganda machine for the government to keep the masses distracted. A social engineering tool to divide the masses. A criminal monopoly profiteering through gambling, merchandising, and advertising. What we grew up watching was a pure human competition. Those guys had 9-5 jobs during the off-season. They cared about the community they represented. They cared about their teams, and they would fight tooth and nail to win and get bragging rights. They played with Pride and Poise because they were the community and the community was them, intertwined in a battle against the rest of the world. That was the true spirit of football.

The bastardized, diluted, manipulative pile of crap that we have now is a fraudulent shell of its predecessor. We only watch it and care about it because of the nostalgia we have for the teams we watched growing up. Like everything else around us, corruption and greed has destroyed it. At least we were able to experience the real deal.
