kinda saw the dhb cut coming... tollefson i understand... but i thought huff had too big of a salary cap hit... plus i thought the team liked him at cb??? also... what about mcclain??!! dafuq lol...

Day 2 of the NFL's free agent frenzy began Wednesday with the smoke beginning to clear from second-year general manager Reggie McKenzie's mini-purge that saw the Raiders cut three players -- two of whom were taken with the No. 7 overall picks in their respective drafts -- that saved just over $8.732 million in salary cap space and lose two others in free agency.

Wednesday, 11 a.m. -- Chicago LB Nick Roach and Cincinnati DT Pat Sims reportedly set to visit Raiders

Wednesday, 10 a.m. -- FA QB Vince Young in "preliminary" talks with Raiders, per NFL Network.

Tuesday, 6 p.m. -- UFA DT Desmond Bryant, who tied for the team lead in sacks with four, agrees to a five-year, $34-million deal with Cleveland.

Tuesday, 5 p.m. -- UFA LB Philip Wheeler, who led the Raiders with 109 tackles, agrees to five-year, $26-million deal with Miami and later Tweets: "Sorry Oaktown gonna miss ya. For real. Thanks for the love. For real."

Raiders signed DT Pat Sims, formerly of the Bengals.
Although Sims is one dimensional, he is an efficient run stopper and can fill a needed role on an Oakland defense that annually struggles to stop ground attacks. Sims turned 27 last November. He packs 335 pounds on a 6-foot-2 frame.
