Well Well, JMO! if the Raiders don't go after Bridgewater...which they should, then they should trade back, but stay in the top 10 gain another 2rd round pick...still they should be able to get a good QB with the 9th or 10th pick, then package there two 2rd rounds picks and move back up into the first and go wr.

But who knows in what Reggie plans are.....

When was the last time someone won it w a shitty QB? 2002 I believe.

If you don't have the QB, your OL won't win for you. The only chance you have is to field a world-class defense.

Since 1992, only BAL and TB have won the SB with shitty QBs. Both sported defenses that rank easily in the top 5 greatest of all time. And neither was able to sustain greatness.

On the other hand, guys like Eli, Roethlisberger, Brady, Elway, Aikman... Those HOFers or future HOFers were able to deliver multiple championships.

I don't understand why we're even debating this. It's obvious to anyone with eyes and a brain that if you want to win you better have a top-flight QB. that's the nature of the modern game, and really it's the way it's always been Starr, Bradshaw, Staubach, Plunkett, Montana... history speaks for itself, both ancient and recent.

No doubt about it, but the issue is not whether a team can win without a franchise QB, but whether there is a QB in this year's draft worth taking a chance on with a top 5 pick. With a team, like the Raiders, with holes just about everywhere, it would seem to make the most sense to be more risk averse and draft the best player available at the time, rather than trying to reach unnecessarily.
