Some of the highlights of great LA/Oak Raider playoff games from the past on Raiders.com? Brings back so many memories of what this franchise was all about from the 60's to the Gannon/Gruden era. I know AD would market the team to the fans with their rich history even though the teams on the field the last ten years for the most part have been horrendous!! It will be nice and satisfying when this team does make the playoffs in the coming years and has new memories and highlights for us to enjoy. Any Raider fan like myself has been tested pretty strongly the last decade of ineptitude but still watch anyway which is a sign of a true fan and masochist!! LOL! Hopefully the powers that be put together a bonafied roster the coming years so we can put this nightmare behind us.

Dude!!! Marcus Allen was a true Raider through and through!! Destroying his career in LA and letting Gruden go were some of AD biggest mistakes as well as in my mind moving to LA in 1982. Think about the LA Raiders of the 80's if we had somehow gotten Marino or Elway, didn't piss off Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson stayed healthy, how good we would have been from say 1987 to the mid 90's!!! AD sabotaged the franchise gradually after Flores in 87' he had a carousel of coaches Shanhan and Shell mainly and actually went to the AFC chmpshp after 90' season. AD stayed with Marc Wilson way too long in the 80's because we had some primed teams back than to at least go to more than that Super bowl in 84'. With all of AD brilliance and gambler mentality, his ego and stubbornness did him in the last 20 years of his life.

I remember the goal line fumble against the Eagles in 86'' in OT I think. I don't remember the other fumble. Marcus did last until the 1992 season in LA so it wasn't that that irked AD.
